How much is the 2025 membership fee?

As of summer 2025, $1200.00 annually and automatically billed until cancelled. First time patients are allowed to. purchase a Single Consult at $500.00 HOWEVER after the consult only 21 days are allowed to consider deducting the charge from the annual price. Any patient deciding after 21 days must pay the current full membership price.

Can I use HSA/FSA to pay for Consult/Membership?

Yes, usually most cards will allow for purchasing a consult with the clinic. Please check your. options before payment as. this is non refundable.

Do you take medical insurance?

In addition to the membership fee, yes each consult/collaboration will be billed to your insurance. We use G&G Billing and they can courtesy submit to your insurance company however patients are responsible for any balance that is unpaid.

Should I get blood testing before the initial consult?

IF you are only purchasing the Test Drive consult, Yes! Having blood tests ordered by DrRic BEFORE would optimize time spent by providing more data points to analyze (in addition to a full Integrative Intake history). As an Annual Member, blood tests can be ordered after the visit. (note: quest diagnostics usually takes 2-3 weeks for completing results)

How do I know if the blood ordered is covered by my insurance?

Due to the multitudes of different insurance, it is the patient’s responsibility to make sure they know about annual deductible, labs drawing centers that are covered (if you call the insurance after you receive the orders, they should be able to approve or let you know what you are responsible for paying out of pocket)

How many visits in the year can I consult DrRic for lifestyle change or sickness.

It is suggested to follow up every 2months especially after deploying lifestyle change to make sure the implemented suggestions are working and if modifications are required. Remember your insurance will be billed for each visit thus the importance of understanding what is covered by insurance (for example wellness visits are usually covered once a year with a primary care doc). You will probably be responsible for out of pocket fees even if all consults are virtual.

IF you are choosing a “Test Drive” single consult…you will only have 1 visit along with. a grace period of 21 days to decide on joining the Annual Membership group and avail of multiple consults along with continued communication. All prior patients will be able to email doctor but you will be expected to follow up with your primary care for refills, new testing or all other issues.

If I do NOT use all 6 suggested consults in the 12months, can I still reserve a virtual visit?

Once your 12month membership expires, assuming you choose to NOT automatically be billed for another year, you will NOT be allowed to reserve further consults. Doctors’ membership panel is exclusive and we must dedicate all available communication and time to enrolled patients ONLY.

If I will not be renewing an Annual Membership or if I only have a single Test Drive Consult, can I have an entire year of medicine refills called in?

No. All medicines can lead to side effects and blood tests are required (and updated consulting) BEFORE providing long term refills. It is expected at the time of decision to opt out of the practice, a new primary care physician has been chosen and visit established. (note: there are very limited physicians that have been fellowship trained in Integrative Medicine/Sports Medicine/Family Medicine)

Can I ask for a refund if not satisfied with the consult or the membership?

Refund for Single Test Drive Consults will NOT be allowed once the service is provided. In certain circumstances, people choose to not re-enlist but if the Annual Membership fee is automatically charged, we can provide a refund (minus the processing fee charged by Bank of America which can be up to 7+% ). Note: the membership is exclusive to a limited number of patients and if you take a space, you would have blocked a new member from joining!
